Real time apps on the mobile phone: 2006

The app searched for nearby stops, we did a lot of benchmarking before we found out that you needed a list of 25 stops to always find Birkelunden from the Opera Software headquarter.

We also experimented with RSS based deviation message about train traffic in Oslo:

This was made on a Windows Phone using Opera Platform, now dead. The concept was later used in the Trafikanten apps, resulting in over 300 000 downloads.
